Reflection: In Jer 7:23-28, we hear God’s complaint about a nation that refused to take correctionPsalm 95 continues this theme, “If today you hear His voice, harden not your hearts.”  Jesus tells us that a house divided against itself cannot stand.  All of this speaks to me of our nation today.  The United States proclaims liberty and extols human rights, and yet denies the most fundamental right – that to life – to about one million of its children every year.  Our nation is rotting from the inside, and if it refuses to turn from this path it will eventually collapse.  What is the answer?  Jesus drives a mute spirit out of a man – He makes us able to use our voices to protest what is going on.  We use our voices to protest, but even more importantly to pray.  We pray to the “Stronger Man,” who is able to bind Satan, bind the evil of abortion, and exorcise it from the hearts and minds of our nation’s citizenry.
.
Challenge: Petition Jesus to speak His mighty word of command and defeat the spiritual powers at work behind the scenes, blinding people to the horror of abortion and the effect it has upon the soul of our nation.
.
Pray LIFE Runners Creed to end abortion.

Inspiration:  “When a strong man fully armed guards his palace, his possessions are safe.  But when One Stronger than he attacks and overcomes him, He takes away the armor on which he relied and distributes the spoils.” ~ Lk 11:21-22
