“God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.” ~ Jn 3:16 (full readings)
.
Cliff’s Reflections: “When meditating on the familiar and beautiful John 3:16 passage from today’s Gospel reading, I think there is a natural corollary to be found and appropriated in the second portion of John 10:10… “I came that you might have life, and have it abundantly.” If God in His grace and mercy sent His “only begotten Son” so that we “might not perish but have eternal life,” then it is incumbent on us to insure that we are seeking and finding abundance in Him in every moment. Even the most ordinary. The trajectory of our lives can change suddenly and dramatically in the most unexpected of ways.
* Cliff Nancarrow and his wife, Debi, first trusted Christ as teenagers through the ministry of Young Life in California and Arizona, respectively. They have three grown children and four grandchildren.

Faith Quote: “When His disciples asked Jesus, ‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?’ Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.'” ~ Mt 22: 36-40
