Acts 5:28 (Preach without words)

03 Apr Acts 5:28 (Preach without words)

* Welcome God every morning before work by taking ~5 min to read this Living In Faith Exchange (LIFE) Group devotion, which has snippets from Living Faith (

You have filled Jerusalem with your teaching… Acts 5:28

Living Faith snippets: “Not by standing in high places, using clever words, did they [apostles/disciples of Jesus] spread their teaching. It was by the way they lived and the way they died, the fire within them, a look or a touch. Love can be so simple.” by Mary Marrocco

Rich’s comments: St. Francis of Assisi once said, “Preach the Gospel. And if necessary, use words.” Today’s devotion made me think of the life of Mother Theresa and how she dedicated over 40 years ministering to the poor, sick, orphaned, and dying. She was admired by many, Christians and non-Christians, as the highest example of service to humanity. The Bible says, “If someone who has worldly means sees a brother in need and refuses him compassion, how can the love of God remain in him? Children, let us love not in word or speech but in deed and truth.” 1 John 3:17,18 Let us go forth in peace, to love and serve the Lord. Thanks be to God.
