Pastor Rick’s Reflections:  If there was ever a time for Christians to stand strong and courageous it is today.  Yet the strength source comes from the God inside us, which provides the confidence to stand tall for life.  Deuteronomy (31:6), Joshua (1:6-9; 23:6), and Psalms (31:24) all repeat the same phrase of “be strong and courageous.”  Joshua 1:8 provides critical words of wisdom for having success, whether in everyday life or in our journey as Life Runners to protect the unborn.  The importance of meditating on God’s Word and walking it out on a daily basis is paramount to engaging the power source of strength and courage.  In addition, the Bible clearly states that death and life are in the power of the tongue.  In our efforts to promote God’s agenda, are we being strong and courageous in speaking the truth in love, when many cave to the sensitiveness of those who believe contrary to the truth?  As Christians, our confidence and solid foundation begins and ends with the Word of God.  So be strong and courageous in our journey of “All for Christ, for Pro-Life!”

Faith Challenge:  Take time to reflect on how much time we’re spending in studying the Word of God.  It’s difficult to grow courage and strength without knowing the Source.  As John 1:1 denotes, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.”
