13 Apr Big Enough To Love (Matt 25:40)
“And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.” ~ Matt 25:40 (full readings)
Tina’s Reflections: I love this scripture. I often say it is my life verse because it helps remind me that we are all called to love one another as Christ loves us. Even though we may not see people for the gift they are…Jesus does. I recently suffered my fourth miscarriage during the week my father-in-law, Joe Castle, died. I think of my baby, and the world tells me that it isn’t a baby; it is tissue and cells. The world tells me that it is better to have lost the baby before I saw him. They say,”It is best that these things happen early.” My heart tells me I lost my child. My heart tells me I lost a son. As I have been dealing with the grief of this loss, God has given me moments that start to bring healing. I felt inspired to write a song for my son, Gabriel. I would like to share part of it with you. “You were too small for me to hold your hand. You were too little for me to kiss your face. Even though I never saw you, I felt you with my heart. You were big enough for me to love.” Gabriel and all unborn babies are counted as the least of Christ’s brothers, and I love him, even though I never saw him.

Through Christ Our Lord,
* Pray/Fast: Prayer connects us with God’s will and His miracles, changing us & helping others. Fast from things that take your eyes off Jesus. Those who pray together stay together, and close to God!
* Save Unborn (and family): Abortion (images) is #1 death cause (22% pregnancies). Prov 24:11 and Jer 1:5. “A great poverty that a child must die that you might live as you wish.” Mother Teresa.
* Evangelize: Make room for unbelievers and re-evangelization of self, by way of prayer (relationship) and following Christ’s example of love (service/sacrifice/mercy). Matt 28:19.
