“He listened to Paul speaking, who looked intently at him, saw that he had the faith to be healed, and called out in a loud voice, ‘Stand up straight on your feet.’  He jumped up and began to walk about.” ~ Acts 14:9-10 (full readings)
.
Rich’s Reflections:  How bold is your faith?  Would you have the assurance and confidence to yell at a person in a wheelchair: “Stand up!  On your feet!”? (Acts 14:10)  By Paul’s bold command, he healed a crippled man who was lame from birth.  How can we become bold in our faith?  The answer is through the Holy Spirit.  The Spirit confirms us in our faith so we can act in Jesus’ name boldly.  The Spirit helps us pray and listen to our Father (Rm 8:26), allowing us to know what He expects from us, thus allowing us to be bold.  The Spirit also teaches us the Bible (Jn 14:26), and by knowing God’s Word, the devil can’t rob us of the Truth.  As LIFE Runners, we are bold in our faith.  We confidently wear our “REMEMBER The Unborn, Jer 1:5” jerseys among a sea of pro-abortionists.  God challenges us to be bold in our faith.  Let the Spirit make you bold.
