Jillian’s Reflections: How blessed are we that the Lord Jesus Christ forgives all of our sin and so many shortcomings, even the wickedness of abortion and denying God. When I walked into the abortion clinic, seeking a solution to a desperate situation and in an absolute panic, I carried a veil over my eyes the secular world had added layer upon layer to, until I was in complete blackness. Seven years later, during my first Reconciliation, an abundance of 35 years of accumulated drudge was lifted and washed away.  Such heavy burdens dissolved into absolute nothingness. Now 10 years serving as a dedicated single, a devout penitent, what a miracle God works in the heart of a convert! The graces given through steadfast acceptance of God’s requests, to serve Him by serving others, is immeasurable. Lord, let me never consider I should not suffer and live my life as the poor and always remember what an honor it is to serve God humbly in gratitude for saving the life of my only son, as I walked out of Planned Parenthood before his life could be snuffed out forever. Thanks be to God, always.
