25 Jan Conversion of Hearts (Acts 22:14-15) by Rosemary Bernth
‘The God of our ancestors designated you to know His will, to see the Righteous One, and to hear the sound of His voice; for you will be His witness before all to what you have seen and heard.”~ Acts 22:14-15 (full readings)
Rosemary’s Reflections: Today, thousands of people of all ages, will walk through the streets of Washington, DC for one reason…to defend the sactity of life. The March for Life gives a voice to the 55 million unborn babies killed due to abortion. There will be those who will taunt from the other side, on behalf of “women’s health.” But just as God changed the heart of Paul and opened his eyes to the Truth, He can open the eyes of all those watching from the sidelines. We are called to be a witness to Life, to promote the Word of God. It has been forty years since Roe vs. Wade was put into action, but the prolife movement isn’t far behind. The eyes of the nation are on us today. The media can try to ignore the banner-bearing crowd, but somewhere out there, a heart is waiting to be opened.

Faith Challenge: If you are at the March today, remember the millions of unborn lives lost as you walk through the streets of our nation’s capital. Let your actions speak to our leaders to put an end to abortion. If you are at home, pray in solidarity with your fellow soldiers in Christ marching in DC. Be a witness to the pro-life message wherever you are. Who knows whose heart you’ll change today?
Feast Day: Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul
Faith Quote: “You can’t have a little bit of abortion. You can’t be a little bit pregnant. You must understand that life must be protected in total.” ~Nellie Gray, founder of the March for Life
