Rich’s Reflections:  In today’s culture, there are many fatherless children.  This may be true even for children whose father still lives in the same house, but places their work or mistress at a higher priority than their family.  The job of a father is to represent God the Father to his wife and children.  This is such a critical and irreplaceable role in a child’s life that it is greatly under attack by Satan and his pawns who shape the modern, secular culture.  God the Father loves all people with an everlasting love.  Fathers are called to teach this truth to their children through their constant fatherly love.  God the Father knows what His people need and provides for them without fail.  Fathers are likewise called to faithfully spend their lives trusting in God’s provision for their family and working diligently to provide for their children.  Pray that all fathers have a greater faith in God’s ability to provide for all their children (present and future).

Faith Challenge:  By their trust or fear, fathers teach their children to trust God the Father or not.  Pray for fathers, to trust in God at all times.
