“Come after Me and I will make you fishers of men.” ~ Mt 4:19 (full readings)

Rich’s Reflections:  Today is the feast day of St. Andrew.  In the Gospel today, the first thing that Andrew did after meeting Jesus was to seek out his brother Simon and tell him that he had found the Messiah.  With his first cast, Andrew caught not just a man, but the fisher of men and women, Simon Peter.  What a fish story!  Andrew, on his first try at evangelism, caught the man who would later catch three thousand on the day of Pentecost.  Is there anyone you are called to tell about Jesus?  How about our life-saving ministry called LIFE Runners.  Have you neglected to share the good news because of laziness or fear?  Do not put it off for another day, hour, or minute.  Be an Andrew right now; tell a Peter about Jesus. “How can they believe unless they have heard of Him?” (Rom 10:14)
