Sara’s Reflections:  Some people have asked me how can I run a 5K or a half marathon.  Until I became a Life Runner I never could run. I never ran before in my life. I never really tried to run, or was told I couldn’t run, or was too afraid to even try to run.  ALL these reasons were all about MYSELF; thinking of myself, caught up on myself.  But being chosen by God and me saying “yes” to Him asking me to become a Life Runner changed all that.  So when people ask me how I can run, I say I can’t run at all, it is the power of God who is alive in me and runs with and through me is how I can run and why I run.  How many times have we heard that our world or our society is in the “Culture of Death?”  How did We allow this to happen?  We became more selfish and self centered people.  Our selfish sins snuffed out God’s life in our hearts and minds.  Our sins of pride, killing, hate, envy, human trafficking, divorce, pornography, stealing, addictions, and the list goes on.  The reason I couldn’t run before was that it was all about me and myself.  We as Life Runners should not let ourselves get overwhelmed by the “Culture of Death” surrounding us with the killing of precious, innocent babies.  We wonder at times if we are making a difference or not, but it is not us, but God living in us that is making a difference.  We are ALIVE and are filled with His life.  We are His Living Blue Warriors.  God lives in you and me.  We are of the living and not of the dead.  Since we are alive with God’s love for life in us, we are to bring that life out to the dead in the world so they to can rise up and have God’s life in them as well.

Faith Challenge:   Today I ask that all my Life Runner teammates pray for teammates Ed Heigl and his family that God will give them comfort, strength, and peace, and God will fill the hearts of all the abortion-minded people in the world with His love for life .
