Have Sight
“‘Son of David,   have   pity on me!’ Then Jesus stopped and ordered that he be brought to him; and when he came near, Jesus asked him, ‘What do you want me to do for you?'”
~ Lk 18:39-41 (full readings)

Ed’s Reflections:  Life is not about being successful.  It is about being faithful to God and to one another.  Every day we must struggle to walk on the water of faith and in order to do this we must get out of the boat which means leaving our comfort zone and being risk takers for Jesus.   He will not abandon us, but He will help us get out on the water and back into His boat of eternal Life.  Others will rebuke you for your faith and tell you to be quiet.  This is why we must be bold and persevere in our faith, and call out even more in trust to Him in our hour of need.  We must have out eyes open and not be blinded by the world that we live in.  We are all beggars on the side of the road, but through His Grace and Divine Mercy, we are given the opportunity to grow in our faith and put it into action for our salvation and for the salvation of those who believe in Him and do His will.
