25 Feb Heaven is a Team Sport (Mt 21:43) by Dr. Pat Castle
“Therefore, I say to you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that will produce its fruit.” ~ Mt 21:43

Pat’s Reflections: Heaven is a Team sport, and LIFE Runners are “a people that will produce its fruit.” A cross country team fields seven runners but only five count towards the final score. The two extra runners are there to help push the first five forward. The extra runners are ready if any of the first five runners fall back or out of the race. However, at the finish, all seven runners are recognized for the result, the fruit produced. LIFE Runners A-Cross America Relay is on day 15, and we have 60% of the 5K legs filled. To reach 100%, we need all 4,160 LIFE Runners teammates to register and run/walk a Relay leg which can be completed remotely in your neighborhood. All of your training miles can be registered as Relay legs until we cross the finish line on Mar 20th. Our life-saving teamwork produces fruit to feed a Culture of Life. God first, Life always, Teammates forever!

Feast Day: St. Ananias – “Missionary, martyr, and patron of St. Paul. A Christian in the city of Damascus, Ananias was commanded by Christ in a vision to seek out Saul, the future Paul, who had staggered his way into the city following his dramatic encounter with the Lord on the road to Damascus. Finding Saul blind, Ananias cured him and baptized him. After seeing Paul start his missionary work, Ananias went to Eleutheropolis, where he was martyred for the faith.”
