Pat’s Reflections: Wow, Advent ends tonight, the wait is over!  Mary’s hope-filled crisis pregnancy will pierce the darkness forever when the Christ child is born into the world.  Tonight, we open our arms to hold baby Jesus knowing that at the end of Lent our mighty Savior will open His arms on the cross to hold us for eternity.  Christ chose to become poor for our sake, yet our world chooses to abort millions of children because they are poor.  God meets us in our poverty.  May we empty ourselves before the manger, so we can be fed with the Christmas Spirit!
