For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come toward the light, so that his works might not be exposed.  But whoever lives the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God.” ~ Jn 3:20-21 (full readings)

Molly’s Reflections: Today’s Gospel reading speaks powerfully to us Pro-Lifers!  It begins with: God so loved the world that he gave his only- begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.”  God gave us his only Son here on earth and sent him to us as an innocent, precious little baby!  As Pro-Lifers we are living in the light of God when we are out in the public running with our LIFE Runners shirts, witnessing, posting our message on social media, etc.  We live in a culture of death that leads people to do wicked things and stray from the light.  Those that seem to run from the light have bought into the lie of the pro-choice agenda and are being lead into the darkness.  It’s easier to go with the ‘cultural ways’ then against…even if it means turning farther into darkness and away from the light of truth.  I am truly blessed and honored to have kicked off the A-Cross the Country Relay for Pro-Life over the Brooklyn Bridge.  As I was running through Brooklyn and into Manhattan at rush hour on Ash Wednesday morning, I couldn’t help but see many heads turn and look at my “REMEMBER The Unborn” jersey.  I prayed that perhaps I might lead some souls away from the darkness and into the light.
