Lindsey’s Reflections:  God is our healer.  But in today’s passage the Lord speaks about those who do not know He is their healer.  How can we get others to recognize the Lord’s healing power?  This seems to be a particular problem with women contemplating abortion.  These women desperately want healing and believe that abortion will ‘fix’ what is ‘wrong’.  We must assist in changing this woman’s distorted perception.  That can happen in many ways, but only under the direction of the Holy Ghost.  Most often this occurs through our pro-life efforts – whether it be through a personal conversation, a billboard, a website, or a sidewalk counselor who is praying.  The woman needs healing through charity; that is to say, love.  Once she finds and knows her healer, she will be healed and life will abound.
