The Lord is close to the brokenhearted. ~ Ps 34:19

Reflection: Many of us in the pro-life movement are wounded. Many of us have had abortions. Many of us have walked our friends into abortion clinics. Many have suffered miscarriages. We are wounded…but we are healers. Every time I go out to an abortion clinic to pray and sidewalk counsel, I am reminded of my two children that I aborted. I am also reminded of the thousands of children who were killed on my watch. I am reminded of the blood on my hands. But more than anything, I am reminded that I am forgiven. Praise God for His mercy! I thank God for my “life scars.” God can use all of us to minister to others, no matter what we have experienced in our life. Praise God that he can turn our sins and hurt into glory for HIM!

Challenge: Don’t fear your hurt. Use it to help others. Let Christ heal your heart and your grief. Let him work a miracle in your life.
