Reflection:
He has risen! Yesterday, we all gathered with our respective faith communities to celebrate Jesus’ victory over death by way of His resurrection.  Along our journeys, we need the reminder that we are Easter people; that death does not have a hold on us; that light overcomes darkness; that faith overcomes fear; that life always…always…wins!  Jesus invites us, as He invited the women in our story, to walk in this truth and to share it with others.  Easter is not a once a year celebration, but an every day challenge.  A challenge to be the voice of life and hope in the world.  A challenge to invite others to see Jesus when we refuse to be shackled by fear, overtaken by darkness, and imprisoned by death.  A challenge to live our lives in such a way that we point the Way to our living God.  Easter reminds us that God is more than pro-life, He is all of life.  And, because He is life, we are not to fear, even when we are confronted by suffocating darkness and the sting of death.  The Resurrection of our Lord gives us the freedom and the joy to continue to remind a deceived world of the sacredness and miracle of life.  We get to point them to all of the resurrection moments and live the truth of Jesus – LIFE WINS!

Challenge: Write a letter, a card, or a Facebook/Twitter post, that shares a moment of resurrection and life that you encountered today.  Use the story to point to Jesus…the giver of abundant life.
