Motives of Our Hearts (1 Cor 4:5) by Rosemary Bernth

07 Sep Motives of Our Hearts (1 Cor 4:5) by Rosemary Bernth

Welcome God now with this LIFE Group Devotion (FB), provided by LIFE Runners (FB). Leaders. Guest Authors. LIFE Minute radio.

“Therefore, do not make any judgment before the appointed time, until the Lord comes, for he will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will manifest the motives of our hearts, and then everyone will receive praise from God.” ~ 1 Cor 4:5 (full readings)

Rosemary’s Reflections: All our actions come with reasons; we maintain a good diet and exercise to stay healthy; we put money into savings accounts to pay for future expenses. Of course, sometimes our motivations are not as crystal clear as others. Some people have their own secret agendas. For example, Planned Parenthood. The organization has generated countless abortions for a high price under the guise of women’s health. Not only are the lives of the unborn destroyed, but those of the mother, father, and the potential lives those children would have touched. We have uncovered the truth about Planned Parenthood from those who had been part of its dark scheme to prey on the vulnerable. As Christians, we are moved to fight for Truth and Life, no matter what the cost is to our social standing. God will know what side we’re on when the final battle comes, so stay strong if we are demeaned by others because of our beliefs.
