21 Jun Of Most Value (Mt 6:22-23) by Shane Kapler
Welcome God now with this LIFE Group Devotion (FB), provided by LIFE Runners (FB). Leaders. Guest Authors.

“If your eye is sound, your whole body will be filled with light; but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be in darkness.” ~ Mt 6:22-23 (full readings)
.
Shane’s Reflections: What do we value most in life? It is important because it shapes how we view the world. If you are receiving these devotions, then I think your answer is, “My relationship with God.” You evaluate actions and stances based upon whether they bring you closer to, or take you farther away from, God. You understand that the killing of children within the womb is abhorrent to Him, and you will not make peace with it in any way, shape, or form. The problem our nation and world seems to be having is that it refuses to admit what it values most, because it is not God – Love, pure Generosity, Sacrifice. No, it is pleasure, economic stability, and security – none of which are bad in themselves, but evil when put above God and His will.
