03 Sep Pray Without Ceasing (Col 1:9) by Brandon McAuliffe
“Brothers and sisters: From the day we heard about you, we do not cease praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.” ~ Col 1:9 (full readings)

Brandon’s Reflections: Besides our motto, I can see no other fitting verse to describe our mission as LIFE Runners. One of the things that we are always doing is praying for the unborn. Today we celebrate the Memorial of Saint Gregory the Great, Pope and Doctor of the Church. We have to continually pray for the doctors to stop performing these heinous acts in addition to the ones who are affected. Today’s Gospel is also powerful as we hear of Jesus telling Simon to follow Him and become “fishers of men.” That’s one thing that we have to continue to do as LIFE Runners. We are growing nationally and that’s allowing us to have a louder voice as more and more people follow us as we cast our nets everywhere we go.
