23 Sep Prayer Warrior (Lk 9:3) by Mary Grabosky
“He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey, neither walking stick, nor sack, nor food, nor money, and let no one take a second tunic.” ~ Lk 9:3 (full readings)

Mary’s Reflections: Today’s Gospel tells us, “Take nothing for the journey, neither walking stick, nor sack, nor food, nor money, and let no one take a second tunic.” God will care for all our needs and will lead us on our uniquely designed path if we stay close to Him in prayer. Prayer also changes hearts and moves mountains. We must do our part and be warriors of prayer for the unborn. No matter where we are or what we are doing, each moment of our day, all our work, and every run can all be a prayer offered up to change the hearts of those who do not see the simple truth that life begins at conception. As LIFE Runners we run as a prayer to defend those in the womb. Let us pray!
