02 Apr Relay 100% filled! Finish Line celebration events!
Jump for joy! For the second year in a row, we 100% filled the 1,588 legs of the A-Cross America Relay for Pro-Life! Those legs add up to 5,545 miles (12 million steps!) completed on the course and remotely around the world in all weather conditions. Up until Apr 9th finish line celebration events in Kansas City (details below), register LIFE Runners jersey miles that you run or walk on the course or remotely in your area (since Mar 1st start). Each leg can have multiple participants, allowing us to now exceed the 5,545 miles of the course. If you complete Relay legs with teammates, multiple jerseys have an even bigger impact on hearts and minds for saving lives. FINISH LINE CELEBRATION EVENTS – Sunday, Apr 9th
* 9:00 AM – Palm Sunday Mass (all welcome), Cathedral of St. Peter, 416 N. 14th St, Kansas City, KS.
* 10:00 AM – Fellowship, snacks, and Team blessing by fellow LIFE Runner Archbishop Naumann.
* 11:00 AM – Run/walk finishing legs. Register here.
* 12:30 PM – Celebration rally at Macken Park, 1000 Clark Ferguson Dr, Kansas City, MO. Free lunch – RSVP at contact@liferunners.org.
* 12:45 PM – March final leg (only quarter mile) into finish with all four arms. Register here.
* 2:30 PM – Prayer rally at Planned Parenthood, 4401 W 109th St # 200, Leawood, KS 66211. liferunners.org/creed
* 3:00 PM – 40 Days for Life Closing Rally at Center for Women’s Health, 4840 College Boulevard, Overland Park, KS (walking distance from Planned Parenthood)
