Reflection:  The story of the Walk to Emmaus is one of my favorite Bible passages.  Jesus walking with two of His disciples, incognito.  How do you walk 7 miles with Jesus and not recognize Him?  I do it every day in my daily walk through life, and because of that I don’t recognize those suffering or in need.  If I’m honest with myself, I may not want my eyes opened in these many opportunities because I’m afraid of what I may be called to do.  Maybe I’m lazy.  I want to be comfortable.  I don’t want to sacrifice.  In reflecting on this passage I can say that since I became a LIFE Runner, I have been blessed to have participated on Runs to Emmaus.  Our hearts (and lungs) burn as we discuss our faith on this spiritual exercise.

Challenge:  Today is the First Wednesday of the month, so wear your “REMEMBER The Unborn – Jer 1:5” jersey as a public witness in unity with our 7,480 teammates in 34 nations, All In Christ!  Run or walk your Road to Emmaus and invite others to be LIFE Runners.  liferunners.org/join-now
