Seeds of Plenty (Lk 6:38) by Dr. Rich Reich

“Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be seedspoured into your lap.  For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.” ~ Lk 6:38 (full readings)

Rich’s Reflections:  Most people in the time of Jesus worked as farmers.  The landowner would pour as much seed into the fold of the worker’s garments as they could hold.  The worker would then carry the seeds to the field and sow them by hand until the fold of their garments was empty.  Then the worker would return to the seed-pile for more seeds and the process was repeated daily until all fields were sown.  Jesus tells us today that those who give themselves to Him will be given much.  When we serve Jesus through our Pro-Life ministry, He will multiply our resources (seeds = LIFE Runners) so that we may increase our service to Him and spread the Pro-Life message.  We must continue to return to the seed-pile to sow our message of human dignity for all, born and unborn, from conception to natural death, until the culture of death is destroyed.  Jesus has blessed the LIFE Runners with many gifts as can be seen by our incredible growth.  The LIFE Runners are now 2,300 strong located in all 50 states and 14 countries.  Thank you Lord!
