Reflection:   Jesus is the way and the truth and the life.  He sent us the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, “which the world cannot accept.”  We know that the ultimate battle is between light and darkness, good and evil, God and Satan.  Thankfully, by the grace of God, we have received the beautiful and salvific Gospel of Life.  The understanding of the dignity and meaning of human life has shone upon us.  To whom much is given, much is expected and required!  We know well the suffering, sorry and regret of those who have rejected the Holy Spirit and embraced the world. Let us fearlessly live in Jesus Christ, the Lord of Life, and bring His love and truth to an oppressed world.

Inspiration:
“Abortion is the greatest threat to peace in the world.  Life is too precious, do not destroy it.  Lead me from death to Life, from falsehood to Truth.  Lead me from despair to hope, from fear to trust.  Lead me from hate to love.  Let us pray together, work together, to build one world of peace and justice for all.  Life is a promise, fulfill it.” ~ St. Mother Teresa (Feast Day Sept 5th), liferunners.org/creed

My sister and I (65 and 66 years) completed a half marathon today in four hours in the sleet, rain, and snow in Omaha this morning. I proudly wore my Life Runners shirt. Praise God and thanks to the intercession of St Padre Pio!
