[FIRST WED] Step Out (Mt 14:28) by Dr. Rich Reich

01 Aug [FIRST WED] Step Out (Mt 14:28) by Dr. Rich Reich

Be-not-afraid-b-300x200Lord, if it is really You, tell me to come to You across the water. ~ Mt 14:28
.
Reflection:  Peter got out of the boat and started to walk towards Jesus on the water.  Peter became afraid and began to sink.  After pulling Peter out of the water, Jesus exclaimed:  “How little faith you have!…Why did you falter?” If Jesus was disappointed in Peter’s little faith, what about the faith of those who were still in the boat?  If Jesus is displeased with those sinking in the water, what about those who are working their way up to sinking?  What about those who have little faith in the dignity of all human life, born and unborn, and dare not venture out of the boat to defend them on the sidewalks of the abortion clinics?  Share your faith of the dignity of all human life with others to give them courage to step out of the boat.  Continue to keep your eyes on Jesus so you do not falter.
.
Challenge:  Today is the First Wednesday of the month, so wear your “REMEMBER The Unborn – Jer 1:5” jersey as a public witness in unity with our 8,162 teammates in 35 nations, All In Christ!  This will give others courage to step out of the boat and defend the dignity of all human life.
