PRAY LIFE RUNNERS CREED FOR IRELAND: Keep our Irish brothers and sisters in prayer as they prepare for abortion vote on May 25th. If their Eighth Amendment (right to life) is voted down, the Irish will open the door to then consider legalized abortion on demand up to 12 weeks and beyond. FIRST WEDNESDAY of every month is LIFE Runners jersey day, but now we will add a new twist! There will be a photo theme for each month! For May we asked you to “high-five” a teammate for LIFE. Post your photos with #RememberTheUnborn and submit photos with a caption to liferunners.org/photos.
THERE’S AN APP FOR THAT! If you haven’t downloaded the App yet you are missing out. The App has so many amazing features and connects you directly to all things LIFE Runners! Please log your time and distance in jersey, so we know the impact our team is having all around the world! The App shows you how many hours you wear your jersey and how many miles you have covered. LONG BEACH: Our next national race is the Long Beach Half/Full Marathon & 5K (Oct 6-7). Registration is OPEN! This will be another awesome LIFE Runners retreat weekend, details here. All non-running teammates are encouraged to walk or cheer, helping to share our “REMEMBER The Unborn – Jer 1:5” jersey message as a Team.
CHAPTERS (103): We are pleased to welcome several new chapters, listed at liferunners.org/chapters. Only five local LIFE Runners are needed to form a chapter. Many thanks to our chapter leaders for arranging monthly huddles. Chapters can request $100 in FREE promo materials. Chapters can do adopt-a-highway trash clean up for free “LIFE Runners” road signs. Consider fundraising for a local “REMEMBER The Unborn – Jer 1:5” billboard and free jerseys for local schools: Amazon Smiles, grants, FB birthdays, Knights of Columbus. School chapters receive a $250 grant for free jerseys.
