“I saw One like a son of man coming, on the clouds of heaven; When he reached  the Ancient One and was presented before him, He received dominion, glory, and kingship; nations and peoples of every language serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not be taken away, his kingship shall not be destroyed.”
~ Dn 7:13-14 (full readings)

Kevin’s Reflections: So even way back in the Old Testament, Daniel was able to prophesy about Christ the King’s eternal reign over all of God’s creation! Know that Jesus’ “Kingship shall not be destroyed,”; not by sin, death, illness, cancer, or evil since none of these are stronger than God. The devil would like us to think that he is stronger and in control, but he is a creature, not the Creator. The Creator is over all, and in all, and creates each of us to praise and worship Him. Following God by living what has become the countercultural Christian lifestyle is not easy, may subject us to ridicule, and may make us somewhat “different.” It is easy to get sidetracked, and to give in to our very human nature. Pray today that the Creator will give each of us the grace to turn away from sinfulness and towards God in all things!
