23 Dec Tongue Tied (Lk 1:64) by Dr. Rich Reich
Welcome God now with this LIFE Group Devotion(FB), provided by LIFE Runners (FB). Leaders. Guest Authors
“Immediately his mouth was opened, his tongue freed, and he spoke blessing God.” ~ Lk 1:64 (full readings)
Rich’s Reflections: Are you tongue tied? Is it above your pay grade to speak out for the unborn? In today’s Gospel, Zechariah was made mute because of his lack of faith (Lk 1:19-20), but then his tongue was loosed when he obeyed the archangel Gabriel by naming his son “John”. How many people in our nation are tongue tied and refuse to defend the unborn, because of their lack of faith? Help them believe by amplifying your voice for the unborn. Share your faith in how every human life is a reflection of God’s glory, and how as Christians we have the responsibility to defend the dignity of all human life from conception to natural death.
