“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant.  From this day all generations will call me blessed:  the Almighty has done great things for me and holy is his Name.”
~ Lk 11:46-49 (full readings)
Ed’s Reflections:  Mary always placed her trust in God.  She believed that what was spoken to her by the Angel of God would be fulfilled.  “Blessed are those that know the will of God and keep it.”  May we leap into action defending the unborn and all human life just as the unborn baby John leaped for joy in Elizabeth’s womb upon Mary’s arrival.  We too are God’s messenger and we need to leap into action in joy working to be witnesses to the world for life.  The Navy’s Blue Angels help protect the lives of the American people.  Life Runners are the Blue Angels for the unborn and for all of the voiceless.  The Blue Angels need jet fuel to fulfill their mission.  We are powered by the grace of God through our Lord Jesus Christ as He has the “Right Stuff” for Eternal Life.

Feast Day:  St. Tarsicius was entrusted with the task of bringing the Eucharist to condemned Christians in prison.  He preferred death at the hands of a mob rather than deliver to them the Blessed Sacrament, which he was carrying.
