03 Sep We Are God’s Co-Workers (1 Cor 3:7) by Matthew Laugeman
“Therefore, neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who causes the growth.” ~ 1 Cor 3:7 (full readings)
.
Matt’s Reflections: We must remain in the Spirit. Every day when we wake, be mindful of our Lord’s presence, and be ready to answer His call! In all that we do, realize that it is the Holy Spirit that produces the good fruits of our labors. Brothers and sisters do not be discouraged if the secular world, those remaining in the flesh, do not accept what we say. All we can do, as God’s co-workers, is plant and water, God will cause the growth in His time, not ours. Have faith in the One who created us, in His own image, that He is the Divine Author and in control!

Faith Quote: “True love causes pain. Jesus, in order to give us the proof of His love, died on the cross. A mother, in order to give birth to her baby, has to suffer. If you really love one another, you will not be able to avoid making sacrifices.”
