Kathy’s Reflections: In each generation, God calls His people to be witnesses to/for Him. Today, He calls us to witness, stand and suffer for the sanctity of human life. For God is the author and giver of all life. And Jesus, His Son, became flesh, suffered and died for life now and eternally. Today’s reading is written to Timothy and to us: “Paul, an Apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God for the promise of life in Christ Jesus.” We face the pro-death forces with confidence, “For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather of power and love and self-control” to win hearts and minds. “So do not be ashamed of your testimony to our Lord…but bear your share of hardship for the Gospel with the strength that comes from God. He saved us and called us to a holy life…and the grace bestowed on us in Christ Jesus before time began, made manifest through… our savior Christ Jesus who destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel for which I was appointed preacher and Apostle and teacher. On this account I am suffering these things; but I am not ashamed, for I know Him in whom I have believed and am confident that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day.” “He is not God of the dead but of the living.”
* Kathy Stegeman was blessed with parents who not only chose life, but also introduced her to the Author of Life. For the last 10 years, Kathy, whose background is finance, has worked in management for Vitae Foundation, whose mission is to promote a culture of life through mass media. Kathy, along with her loving husband (Jim) of 36 years, has 5 children, 1 daughter-in-law, 2 sons-in-law, 3 precious granddaughters and a precious pre-born grandchild.

* Pray/Fast: Prayer connects us with God’s will and His miracles, changing us & helping others. Fast from things that take your eyes off Jesus. Those who pray together stay together, and close to God!
* Save Unborn (and families): Abortion (images) is #1 death cause (22% pregnancies). Prov 24:11 and Jer 1:5. “A great poverty that a child must die that you might live as you wish.” Mother Teresa.
* Evangelize: Make room for unbelievers and re-evangelization of self, by way of prayer (relationship) and following Christ’s example of love (service/sacrifice/mercy). Matt 28:19.
